Civil Engineering is the oldest of the traditional engineering profession. It is devoted to the improvement of the human environment for the purposes of making our activities productive, safe and enjoyable, while providing aesthetically pleasing surroundings. The civil engineer plans, designs construct and maintains physical works and facilities that are deemed essential to present day life. Civil Engineering includes the broad categories of construction, structural engineering, environmental engineering surveying and mapping. |

The department’s faculty members have a broad range of experience in the academic environment. Each faculty has significant involvement with students. The Department is continuously improving tools that civil engineering students and faculty are expected to utilize in order to meet the requirements of the program. |
Civil Engineering Department will its own well equipped independent laboratories, seminar room, CAD lab, internet facility and variety of text books, journals and other periodicals to keep the students abreast of the latest advancement in engineering and technology. |
The department is planning to establish the following labs as soon as possible. |
