FOE – Fresher’s 2019

Faculty of Engineering, Pacific University celebrated Fresher’s 2019.

The Chief Guest was Prof. K.K. Dave , Dean P.G.,and Guest of Honor was Dr. Gajendra Purohit, Director, PCBAS.The celebration was filled with much joy, fun and enthusiasm. There were three rounds for selection of Mr Fresher and Miss Fresher. They were introduction round, talent round and questionnaire round. Mr. Fresher was crowned to Abdeali Rawat and Miss Fresher to Neha Kotwal.

Best catwalk male was given to Abdeali Rawat and Best catwalk female Sonam Charak. Best dress male was given to Vikas Verma and Best dress female to Sonam Charak and Best dance Kuldeep Kumar and Best song to Suman and Rahul.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION ( 7th SEP 2019)

Faculty of Engineering celebrated Krishna Janmashtami. Krishna Janmashtami is the birthday of Lord Krishna which is celebrated with great fervor and zeal in India during the monsoon month.

Five teams participated in the Dahi Handi competition and Civil Engineering team won the competition.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON R PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE FOR TEACHERS

Pacific Institute of Technology has organised ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON R programming language for college faculties and school teachers. This workshop is conducted by IIT Bombay, a scheme of ‘Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching’ (PMMMNMTT), an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

National Children’s Science Congress

Pacific University in association with Department of Science and Technology, Government of Rajasthan organized 2 days State Level National Children’s Science Congress 2019 on 7-8 December at Pacific Institute of Technology, Pacific University, Udaipur. Chief Guest for the Inaugural Ceremony was Prof. R. A. Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Prof. Gupta spoke about importance of Skills for students and their development.

The guests present were Prof. Hemant Kothari, Dean(PG), Prof. K. K. Dave, Dean (Academics), Bhuvesh Sharma, Rakesh Parihar, Project Officer(DST) and Dr. Sunil Dubey, Member, NAC NCSTC.

Unveiling the Traditional Treasures to Youth

Pacific University in association with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India organised program on “Unveiling the Traditional Treasures to Youth” which was in the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat”. The Program intended to engage youth and make them aware of our rich cultural traditions. To opt this objective, various artists came from tribal areas of different states presented their folk and traditional dance forms along with the students of Faculty of Engineering, Pacific University. In this direction, they presented Lavni of Maharashtra, Ghoomar of Rajasthan, Kalbelia, Bhawai from West Rajasthan, Gadwa from Gujarat and other dance forms. The program was coordinated by Ms. Bhumika Ranawat, Program Officer, West Zone Cultural Center and Ankita Bhargav, Faculty of Engineering.
