It was established in the year 2015 to impart Degree and Diploma courses in Mining and Mine Surveying. Today, it stands as one of the most diverse and innovative departments encompassing all disciplines within Mining Engineering and associated areas.
The department has its own building with all infrastructure facilities and well-equipped laboratories for research work. Facilities have been developed in collaboration with the mining industry for dealing with the practical problems.
