Visit of Chetan Singh Solanki Under Gandhi Global Yatra

Prof. Chetan Singh Solanki, Professor, Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay visited Faculty of Engineering as part of Gandhi Global Solar Yatra to promote the idea of Energy Swaraj, wherein the communities generate and consume their own energy needs through the adoption of solar energy. He has been working in the renewable energy sector for the past 20 years. He has visited 30 countries and 101 countries have registered to be a part of this mega-global event along with registration of 0.8 million students who will be participating in SSA 2019. After completing international yatra , he is now promoting this idea and sensitize the young minds towards solar energy in India.

Civil Engineering students of Faculty of Engineering, Pacific University visited Tata Realty and Infrastructure project of Debari-Chittorgrah NH-27 six lane widening.

Gully Cricket League Match

Faculty of Engineering organised Gully Cricket League in which 8 teams participated. In the Final match, Jammu Warriors emerged victorious defeating Outlaws. There was exhibition between the faculty members at the end.

Visit To Akshaya Patra

First Year students of Faculty of Engineering, Pacific University visited Akshaya Patra, Udaipur plant. Akshaya Patra is the World’s Largest NGO-Run Mid-Day Meal Programme serving Wholesome School Lunch to Over 1.76 Million Children in 16,785 Schools Across 12 States & 1 Union territory in India.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON R PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE FOR TEACHERS on Tuesday, 17 December 2019

Pacific Institute of Technology has organised ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON R programming language for college faculties and school teachers. This workshop is conducted by IIT Bombay, a scheme of ‘Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching’ (PMMMNMTT), an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

FOE Organised a program on “Unveiling the Traditional Treasure to youth”.

Pacific University in association with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India organised program on “Unveiling the Traditional Treasures to Youth” which was in the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat”. The Program intended to engage youth and make them aware of our rich cultural traditions. To opt this objective, various artists came from tribal areas of different states presented their folk and traditional dance forms along with the students of Faculty of Engineering, Pacific University. In this direction, they presented Lavni of Maharashtra, Ghoomar of Rajasthan, Kalbelia,Bhawai from West Rajasthan, Gadwa from Gujarat and other dance forms. The program was coordinated by Ms.Bhumika Ranawat ,Program Officer, West Zone Cultural Centre and Ankita Bhargav,Faculty of Engineering.
