Mining Engineering students of Faculty of Engineering visited Jhamarkotra mines, of Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited (RSMML) where they saw open cast mines, labs and mining models.

They gave presentation on the topic “Digital Transformation: A new Industrial Revolution” and they were awarded with cash prize of Rs 1000 by Mr.Pankaj Kumar, COO, Hindustan Zinc.

Congratulations to Chetana Sharma, Second year CSE student and Reha Raina, First Year student of Faculty of Engineering for securing First position in PowerPoint presentation competition which was being organized by The Institution of Engineers (India). Faculty of Engineering organised a Seminar on Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). Keynote speaker was Sejal Samar, Vice-President, Happy Mongo. The seminar was attended by more than 300 students with hands-on experience on AR and VR kits.

B.Tech Civil Engineering students from FOE proposed “Smart Villages” development plan in their final year project.

B.Tech Civil Engineering students from FOE proposed “Smart Villages” development plan in their final year project. According to it, the focus was placed on awareness campaign, efficient management of water supply, sewage and waste management of RAMA and NAI villages near Udaipur. The efforts put by group of students in completion of this project were appreciated by members of Panchayat Samiti of respective villages.
