More than 500 students from Pacific University took part in the Live streaming interactive session on ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ by Prime Minister Modi. He emphasized on self confidence which comes by constant practicing and challenging ourselves and also how to reduce stress in exam,how to face them and to excel in exam without fear. Director, Faculty of Engineering Mr. Piyush Javeria along with other faculty members were also present.

Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a 2 hours session on Ansys for the 3rd and 4th yr students and session was conducted by Mr. Chirag Kothari expert on Ansys from IIT Bombay.
III Year Civil Engineering students visited construction site of Shivji statue at Nathdwara by Miraj Group. Statue is 351 feet high made of Self Compacting Concrete. Students saw the construction of actual statue and also the supporting structures of the project. Pacific engineering students were fortunate enough to meet the structural designer of statue, a very well known Prof. Abhay Gupta who shared the in depth information about the structure of statue.

Second Year Civil Engineering students visited 6-lane extension project on NH-76 by Tata Realities and Infrastructure Ltd. Students saw different stages of construction of bitumen flexible pavement which was elaborated by expert Highway Engineer Mr. Suresh Sharma and Mr. Rajdeep Choudhary. Students also visited material testing lab on site.
